The calendar and temperature do not match. Life is rioting around me, pushing up through cracks at my feet, singing above in branches above my head - swirling into a joyful noise as the world wakes from a light slumber.
Where I Stand is an ongoing photo essay examining the different places I spend my life standing. Too often we take for granted the everyday places we spend our lives walking on. The ground we tread on has its own stories to tell.

I always look forward to your Sunday Notes. Where I stood yesterday was still waist deep in snow. Grew up in Muskegon - miss it every alpine spring!
