holiday thank you giveaway

I'm super humbled and thrilled and happy to be part of the fiber art community. I can't really express it enough, words don't do it.

So how about a giveaway? Been a while since I've done one. Want a chance to win a copy of my DVD workshop?

If you do, act fast - leave a comment (about anything) here by Sunday December 18 and I'll pick a winner and pop it in the mail to you priority. (Hopefully it makes it to you by the holidays but since I don't control the P.O., can't promise it.)

Get commenting! :)

I have tried thermofax screens, without much luck, either too much paint or never enough. I could use some help in that area. Thanx for the opportunity

Oh, Lynn--what a Christmas bonus that would be!!! You have been the one to inspire me to try screen printing, so your DVD would be a great help. If I won it before I bought it...wow!

There really is a fine line between mistakes and success. When it's feeling like it's just not coming together, I will typically take a break that doesn't mean to toss it to the bottom of the closet never to be seen again!), clear my mind a bit then try again. Most times it's just a small thing that will make the piece you're working on begin to look more pleasing.

I really enjoy your site and teaching.

May you have a blessed Christmas!

-Lynn - I, too, love the winter. Originally from near the Minnesota border, I have trudged through much of the white wonder. Displaced to Tennessee, we have rarely seen snow, and then warm spring and hot summer arrive quickly. I really miss the deep changes of seasons. Winter makes me appreciate the provisions the Lord has blessed our family with. It's not MY motto, but I agree..... LET IT SNOW!!!!!

Thank you for the chance -- I've really been enjoying your messages in my mail each day. Your photos, your art, your pause prompts have been inspiring -- even on days when I'm unable to do any art (I'm in the middle of a move!), it's nice to have a few words of inspiration and "artthink" in my head! Have great holidays!
