what's your dream class?

I've been thinking a lot about classes lately.

Ones I like to teach, ones I like to take. I definitely gravitate to technique based classes on both counts. I'm a little on the picky side when it comes to this stuff.

And then I got to thinking about what classes I would take if money and time were no object at all (people I haven't already studied with - I've had some incredibly awesome teachers so far). I'd love to learn from Nancy Crow, Linda Colsh (who I think sadly does not teach anymore) and Claire Benn & Leslie Morgan. They all have a very distinct style that really draws me in. That's my dream line up and got me wondering:

If time and money were no object,
who would you take a class from and why?

Well, you have a great list there. The Barn is a really nice place to take a class. I would add Sue Benner to your list. I have heard she is an excellent teacher.

I believe I would like a class form Laura and Linda Kemshall. I subscribe to their Design Matters site. There is much variety and mixed media--sketching, painting fabric dyeing and printing and stitching.

Well, you've started a great list. I would add the Kemshalls, Jane Dunnewold, Sue Beener, Melly Testa, Jane LaFazio. Then of course, I would be overwhelmed with ideas! LOL!

I agree with you on Nancy Crowe at the Barn. I would also like to take a class from Carol Bryant Fuller and another class from Jean Wells.

Oh there are so many on my list!
Susan Shie, Carol Soderlund, Nancy Crow, Jane Dunnewold, Vicki Pignatelli, Kerr Grabowski, Lyric Kinard, Rayna Gilman, Caryl Bryer Fallert, Elin Noble, Wen Redmond...on and on the list goes.

Can't wait till my daughter and grandsons move out -- looking forward to some serious 'me' time!

OK, apparently I can't spell! Maybe that's why I can't find the classes..LOL I meant Nancy Crow, Carol Bryer Fallert, and Jean Wells. And of course Kerr Grabowski and I hope she brings "the naked man" to wash our screens. LOL
